With more than 40 years of experience as architect, owner¡¦s representative, general contractor, and specification consultant, Mr. Johnson formed a new consulting firm, Johnson and Johnson Consultants, LLC in 2003.
Mr. Johnson Is former Vice President and Director of Technical Resources for RTKL Associates Inc. In this role he coordinated technical requests from more than 800 employees in eight domestic and four foreign offices. He was active in developing corporate master specification systems, a reference detail library, coordination of technical education programs, quality assurance programs and project management systems.
Mr. Johnson is a former president of the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI), former president of the Design and Construction Quality Institute (DCQI), former vice president of the design and construction division of the American Society for Quality, current Vice President of Specification Consultants in Independent Practice (SCIP), current Board Member of the Construction Sciences Research Foundation (CSRF), and current Board Member of the International Alliance for Interoperability (IAI).
